Madeline S. Carlson joined Parkowski, Guerke, & Swayze, P.A. as an associate in 2023. Her practice concentrates on personal injury and civil litigation.
Ms. Carlson graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from Bridgewater College and magna cum laude with a J.D. from Widener University Delaware Law School. During law school, she served as Editor in Chief for Volume 28 of the Widener Law Review. Ms. Carlson also interned as Josiah Oliver Wolcott Fellow to the Honorable James T. Vaughn, Jr. of the Delaware Supreme Court in Kent County.
Prior to joining Parkowski, Guerke & Swayze, Ms. Carlson worked as Justice Vaughn’s last law clerk before his retirement from the Delaware Supreme Court in 2023.
Ms. Carlson is a Kent County native, and was born and raised in Clayton, Delaware. She graduated as Salutatorian from POLYTECH High School in 2016. She was admitted to practice law in Delaware in 2022. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Delaware.
