Delaware Governor Carney Honors David S. Swayze, Esq.

On August 18, 2022, Delaware Governor Carney honored our senior partner, David S. Swayze, Esq., with the “Order of the First State.” This award recognizes outstanding efforts, knowledge, integrity, prudence and ability in serving the State of Delaware, and is the highest recognition the Governor can give. Dave’s legal career has spanned over 50 years and includes service as Governor Pete DuPont’s Chief of Staff in the 1980s, and many years of service as a member of Delaware Economic and Financial Advisory Council. Dave has been a partner with Parkowski, Guerke & Swayze, P.A. for almost 20 years.
