CAROLYN M. MCNEICE joined Parkowski, Guerke & Swayze, P.A. as Of Counsel in 2014, and practices in the areas of family law, wills, estates, personal injury, and criminal defense.
Ms. McNeice serves as a member of the University of Delaware’s Advisory Committee to the College of Health Sciences, and is on the Boards of Directors of both Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, Inc. and First State Community Action Agency, Inc. She previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of West End Neighborhood House for 20 years and was the Delaware Family Court representative to National Juvenile Defender Center, Northeast Region, for five years.
As an attorney, she volunteers her services for indigent clients needing representation in civil matters such as protection from domestic abuse and child custody disputes. She also volunteers with the Rehoboth Beach Historical Society and the Rehoboth Beach Village Improvement Association.
Prior to joining Parkowski, Guerke & Swayze, Ms. McNeice worked in private practice in Wilmington, Delaware for 25 years. She graduated from the University of Delaware in 1968 with a B.S. in Medical Technology, received her M.S. in Technical Education in 1981 and worked in that field for 20 years. She graduated from Widener University, Delaware Law School with a J.D. in 1987 and is admitted to practice law in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.
